Both powerhouses went through today, although it looks as if Osaka Toin had to stretch hard to reach the next round, scoring the tieing run in the 8th inning and getting the victory on a sayonara hit in the 10th. Koushien Stadium was packed for this one. I hadn’t seen the outfield bleachers so crowded so far in this tournament. Yokohama KouKou seemed to have less trouble defeating last year’s runner up Koryo.
I started to watch the final game for the day and it looked very promising with both sides surrendering quite afew runs and none of them getting a clear lead.
